Dame Judi Dench: Is It Too Late To Make A Run For It?

Dame Judi Dench comes to the York Theatre Royal on Sunday 8 November, appearing in the Main House for an evening she's titled Is It Too Late to Make a Run for It?. It's a conversation about her life and career, and she'll be joined on stage by Brendan O’Hea, the friend and writing partner who helped her put it all down in her new memoir of the same name.

Dench has been acting for over seventy years, and the evening is built around that. She'll be talking through the roles that most of us recognise her from — M in James Bond, Iris Murdoch, Queen Victoria, and her Shakespearean heroines — but she's not just sticking to the highlights.
