Dinnerladies Stage Adaptation Coming to York

The beloved British sitcom Dinnerladies, originally created by Victoria Wood, is making its way to the stage in a brand-new touring adaptation. This production is particularly notable as it is the first piece of Victoria Wood's work to be commissioned by the Victoria Wood Estate since her passing in 2016. Written by Beth and Emma Kilcoyne, known for Roger & Val Have Just Got In, and directed by double Olivier Award-winner Sean Foley, the show brings back the familiar characters of the Manchester canteen, including Stan, Bren, Tony, Dolly, Jean, Twinkle, and Anita.
