Networking mixer for the Women in Tech & Entrepreneurship (WTE) Tampa chapter with the Healthcare Businesswomen's Association (HBA).
Women in Tech & Entrepreneurship is hosting a mixer at Bocelli Modern Italian on Wednesday, October 21, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM. This one brings them together with the Healthcare Businesswomen's Association, so it's a crossover between the tech and healthcare worlds.
If you haven't come across WTE before, it's a community of women working in technology, start-ups, venture capital, entrepreneurship, economic development, and business support. They describe themselves as high-performing and non-conforming, and their mission is to resource women in these fields with near-peer mentorship, educational opportunities, and a support network. They do it through inclusive, dues-free monthly events, and the monthly happy hour is their regular space to connect and talk through industry challenges. Over the last four years, the network has supported more than 16,000 guests across 70 countries through 300-plus free networking events, webinars, and workshops.
Joining them for this mixer is the Healthcare Businesswomen's Association, which works to build a global health and life science workforce that reflects the patients it serves. The two groups are coming together for the evening, so it's a good chance to meet people from both the tech and healthcare sectors in one room.
