South Indian cultural night with Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada beats and top DJs at the upscale club Johnny d'luxe.
Te.Ta.Ma is taking over El Johnny d'luxe on Friday, October 23, for Te.Ta.Ma 17.0, a night they're billing as a full-on South Indian cultural takeover and a new era of premium South Indian nightlife in Tampa. The music runs on nonstop Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada beats, with top DJs promising floor-shaking bangers, throwback hits, and sing-alongs all night long.
The name itself points to the mix: Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam, with Kannada added to the rotation. It's a broad sweep of South Indian sounds, so you'll hear tracks from across the region rather than just one scene. The DJs are leaning into the sing-along side of things, mixing the newer hits with the throwbacks that people know by heart.
El Johnny d'luxe is an upscale party spot with premium sound and lights, club effects, and a massive dance floor. Entry is 18+ to party and 21+ to drink, and you'll need a physical government ID to get in. There's a dress code to impress, so this isn't a casual night out. Capacity is limited and first come, first served, and parking is free.
