Live concert of Brad Fiedel's score from 'Terminator 2: Judgment Day' performed by an eight-piece ensemble in synchronisation with the film at the Tampa Theatre.
Terminator 2: Judgment Day comes to the Tampa Theatre on Friday, April 23, 2027, as a live-in-concert screening. The movie plays on the big screen while an eight-piece ensemble performs Brad Fiedel's industrial score live, in synchronization with the film. It's the 1991 sequel to James Cameron's 1984 sci-fi classic, and the live music replaces the recorded soundtrack you'd hear at home.
For those who need a refresher, the story reunites Arnold Schwarzenegger as the Terminator, this time reprogrammed to protect a young John Connor, played by Edward Furlong, from the shape-shifting T-1000. Sarah Connor, played by Linda Hamilton, is right there with them. The film is rated R and will be presented with subtitles.
The evening is presented by the Tampa Theatre and AEG Presents, in association with Studiocanal and Avex Classics International. The venue itself, built in 1926, is a non-profit movie palace and a community landmark that's spent decades showing classic movies, new releases, and one-off experiences; it's currently celebrating its centenary.
