Tattoo arts festival with live tattooing, competitions and live entertainment across a weekend at the Tampa Convention Center.
The Tampa Tattoo Arts Festival takes over the Tampa Convention Center from Friday, November 20, through Sunday, November 22. It's a full weekend of tattooing, and it's free and open to the public.
The festival brings together tattoo artists from across the country and around the world, working alongside Florida talent. You'll see a wide range of styles on display: bold traditional, black-and-grey realism, vibrant color, fine line, illustrative, Japanese, and neo-traditional. Tattooing happens live on the convention floor throughout the weekend, so you can watch the work as it's being done. Many artists take walk-ups, while others offer advance appointments, and you can leave with a one-of-a-kind piece of art.
Beyond the tattooing, there are competitions across a variety of styles and categories. Each night, a Tattoo of the Day is awarded to work started and finished right at the festival, and there's a program of live entertainment running alongside the booths. If you're not looking to get inked, it's still worth walking the floor just to see the different styles side by side.
