Tampa Tastings

Tampa Tastings kicks off on Monday, January 25, 2027, from 5 PM to 9 PM, and it's a new monthly restaurant-hopping experience that spans Tampa, Temple Terrace, and Ybor City. The whole thing is built around tasting-sized dishes from participating restaurants across those three areas, so instead of one big meal at one spot, you spend the evening moving between different kitchens.

There are no guided tours here, no set order to follow, and no rushing. You pick the restaurants that catch your eye and go at your own pace, which is a nice change if you're used to the structured feel of a food tour. Each participating venue serves up specially selected, tasting-sized portions, so you can sample a few different places without filling up after the first stop. The organizers describe it as a fresh twist on a usual night out, and since it's spread across Tampa, Temple Terrace, and Ybor City, you can cross a fair bit of the local food scene in one evening.

It's not a one-off, either. Beyond the January date, the experience is planned to return one Monday evening every month, so if you enjoy the first one, there'll be more to follow. On the practical side, it's not free and pre-registration is required. Before the event, you choose how many tasting credits you want to buy, and each credit is exchangeable for one featured tasting at a participating restaurant.
