Free inspirational weekend of survivor stories, with authors and special guests who have survived their own experiences, presented by Ersula K. Odom.
Survivor's Summit comes to Peach Progressive Community Church this weekend, running from Saturday, October 17, through Sunday, October 18. It's presented by Ersula K. Odom, and the lineup brings together authors and special guests who have survived their own experiences.
The summit is built around hearing and discussing survivor stories, with the goal of leaving a legacy of healing and hope. The format is straightforward: authors and guests share how they made it through their own 'IT' — the specific experience that brought the group together — and attendees are invited to listen and reflect on those journeys. It's less of a formal presentation and more of a shared conversation about coming through the other side.
That 'IT' is the common thread that ties the whole weekend together, and the people on stage aren't just talking about it from a distance — they're sharing their own personal accounts of surviving it. The authors and guests each bring their own story to the table, so you'll hear a few different ways of making it through rather than just one perspective.
