Broadway-inspired holiday fashion show with fashions from Dillard's International Plaza, dancing, live and silent auctions.
St. Joseph's Hospitals Foundation is bringing back its Holiday Fashion Show on Friday, November 20, at the JW Marriott downtown. It's a Tampa Bay tradition that usually draws more than 800 of the region's philanthropic and fashion-forward guests for an elegant luncheon, and this year's version is billed as a high-energy, Broadway-inspired production.
The runway features fashions from Dillard's International Plaza, with festive entertainment and performances by dancers woven throughout the show. The Broadway theme is the guiding thread for the whole thing, so expect a bit more choreography and stagecraft than your average fashion walk. It's less of a quiet viewing and more of a full-on production, with the dancers keeping the energy up between the looks.
Beyond the runway, the afternoon is set up to kick off the holiday shopping season. There are live and silent auctions running alongside the show, so you can pick up gifts or treat yourself while the fashion is happening. It's a good way to get some of your holiday shopping out of the way early, and everything goes toward the foundation's work.
