Halloween cipher quest where participants solve clues and discover Tampa's Riverwalk at their own pace.
Spooky Hunt: Tampa Riverwalk Haunted Cipher Challenge is running at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park today, Tuesday, October 20, as part of a series of dates that started back in September. It's a Halloween-themed scavenger hunt along the Tampa Riverwalk, and it's run by Social Adventures by Gabrielle.
The hunt is built around clues, observation prompts, and creative group challenges. You'll be working through a cipher, spotting details along the walk, answering themed questions, and making local discoveries as you go. It's designed to be done at your own pace, and you can tackle it on foot, by vehicle, or a mix of both. The whole thing is organized by the Cape May Collective, who've earned a 5/5 rating from people who've done it.
One of the things that makes this one easy to fit in is how flexible it is. It's not a one-size-fits-all experience; it can be tailored for families, date nights, team retreats, or other group occasions. The organizers also run several different styles of these digital hunts—birding, team-building, children's, educational, community cleanup, and sensory discovery, and even virtual or road-trip versions—so this is just one version of what they do.
Every week we pick 🏆 the 5 best 🏆 things to do in Tampa and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.
