R&B costume concert by Spellbound at 7th + Grove in Tampa.
Spellbound is playing a costume concert at 7th + Grove in Tampa on Friday, October 30. It's called Spellbound: A R&Bewitched Costume Concert, and the date puts it right on the eve of Halloween, so the costume part is built into the night. If you've been looking for a reason to dust off a costume a few days early, this is a good one.
The whole thing is built around the R&B side of the holiday—the "Bewitched" in the title is a nod to the music as much as the season. It's a costume concert, so you're encouraged to come dressed up, and the music follows that same spirit. The set is centered on R&B, and the costume element is part of the evening rather than just something people happen to do because it's late October.
It's happening at 7th + Grove, one of the spots in Tampa that keeps a steady rotation of live music going. The show starts at 7:30 PM on Friday, October 30, so it's a late-week date that works well if you're planning your Halloween weekend around it. Tickets are $13, which keeps it on the affordable side for a night out in the city.
