Adults-only evening with exhibit admission, food and drink samples, planetarium shows, and hands-on science activities.
Science After Dark returns to MOSI on Friday, February 19, from 6 PM to 9 PM. It's the museum's adults-only night out, and as the name suggests, it's just for the 18-and-over crowd. Each evening has its own theme, with new activities, demonstrations, and hands-on science experiments to work through, and the night wraps up at the Saunders Planetarium with an immersive show.
One of the evening's signatures is the liquid nitrogen ice creamβan interactive way to satisfy a sweet tooth while seeing the science behind the process. Your ticket covers exhibit admission, light bites, drink samples, and hands-on labs, with the samples served on a first-come, first-served basis. If you're planning to have a drink, keep in mind that a 21+ ID is required to consume alcohol.
This is one of several dates MOSI has on the calendar for the series, which runs on select Thursdays and Fridays from 6 PM to 9 PM. Other upcoming dates include November 5, 2026, April 22, June 25, and September 23, so if the February date doesn't work, there are plenty of others to choose from.
