Live show by grungy rock singer-songwriter Sawyer Hill, with his new album 'Everybody's Home, Nobody's Happy', at the New World Music Hall.
Sawyer Hill plays the New World Music Hall on Wednesday, November 4, at 7 PM. He's a grungy rock singer from Northwest Arkansas who started gigging in bars at 14, sneaking in through the back door to avoid being carded by bouncers. His 2022 breakout, "Look at the Time," topped Spotify's Viral 50 in February 2024, and since then he's racked up over 130 million streams and nearly a quarter billion video views, along with a handful of hit singles and his debut EP, Heartbreak Hysteria.
He left Arkansas to tour the United States and Europe, with sold-out stops at LA's Troubadour and NYC's Bowery Ballroom. He also spent a good stretch of time on the road supporting Yungblud, a tour that informed his new LP, Everybody's Home, Nobody's Happy. The record was shaped by Los Angeles collaborators including Mike Crossey, who has worked with The 1975 and Arctic Monkeys; Chris Greatti, known for his work with Poppy and Yungblud; and Ryan Linville, who has produced for Olivia Rodrigo and Dermot Kennedy. Hill says he hopes the album will be a guiding presence for the loners and the doubters.

His sound blends Americana, folk-rock, and singer-songwriter stylings, built around introspective lyrics and a captivating vocal delivery. It's a mix that sits somewhere between the raw edge of grunge and the storytelling of folk, and the new record draws on the time he spent touring with Yungblud. The show is at the New World Music Hall, 810 E Skagway Ave, Tampa, FL 33604, starting at 7 PM on Wednesday, November 4.
