Free monthly outdoor music series showcasing musical talent across all genres at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park.
Rock the Park returns to Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park on Thursday, November 5, as part of its monthly outdoor music series. It's a free show, and it's one of the last ones of the year. The series runs on the first Thursday of every month, and this is the penultimate date of the 2026 season.
If you've been following along this year, you know the drill: the series showcases musical talent across all genres, so you're as likely to hear a local band as you are a touring act. It's an open-ended bill that changes every month, which is why it's worth checking back each time. The November 5 date is the second to last of the year, with one more to follow on December 3.
There's some history behind it that explains why it's still around. Rock the Park is the result of a partnership between the Tampa Downtown Partnership and Brokenmold Entertainment that's been running for more than 15 years. They've been presenting it to the city as a free downtown concert for over a decade now, so it's a long-standing fixture of the downtown scene rather than a new addition. That partnership is what keeps it coming back month after month.
