R&B ONLY LIVE comes to The Ritz Ybor on Saturday, January 9, 2027. It's a night produced by COLORS Worldwide, and the whole thing is built around R&B music from past to present. The format is DJ-driven, so you're not watching a single act on stage; instead, the DJs take the lead, moving through R&B's greatest hits and more recent favorites. The organizers describe it as a nostalgic journey through the genre, with the night centered on singing, dancing and nostalgia.
Because it's DJ-driven, the music doesn't stop for set changes or breaks. The set spans decades, so you'll hear the older records that defined the sound alongside the newer tracks that keep it going. It's the kind of night where the crowd ends up singing along to the songs they know by heart, and the dance floor stays full across the different eras.

There are two ways to do the night. General Admission runs from $55 to $110 and puts you in the standing-room areas, where you're right in the middle of the dancing. If you'd rather have a seat, VIP tickets go from $80 to $160. The show runs from 8 PM to 1 AM, and doors open at 8 PM, so you've got five hours of music to work through. One thing to keep in mind: the event is strictly for over-18s, and you'll need a valid ID at the door. Tickets are non-refundable, so make sure the date works for you before you commit.
