Potions & Pour Decisions Experience

Potions & Pour Decisions is running at the JW Marriott Tampa Water Street from October 1 through November 1, with sessions held from 5 PM to 7 PM. It's an immersive Halloween cocktail-making experience hosted at The Beacon, the hotel's rooftop bar, so you'll be working on your drinks with a view of the city around you.

The whole thing is built around getting your hands dirty rather than just sitting and sipping. You'll craft three seasonal cocktails alongside expert bartenders who walk you through the process, so you're actually making the drinks yourself. The drinks are themed for the season, and the experience is described as immersive, which fits the Halloween vibe they're leaning into. Between the cocktails, there are chef-selected bites to keep you going, so you've got a full spread of drinks and food over the course of the evening.

One of the better parts is that you don't leave empty-handed: they give you the recipes for the cocktails you made, so you can recreate them at home after the event is over. It turns a single night out into something you can actually use later.

Since it runs for a full month, you've got plenty of dates to choose from. Each session is two hours long, from 5 PM to 7 PM, at The Beacon inside the JW Marriott Tampa Water Street. It's a good way to get into the Halloween spirit without having to commit to a full costume party.
