Open Aux

Open Aux is back at Shuffle on Tuesday, October 21, from 9 PM to 11:59 PM. It's part of the venue's Hip Hop In The Heights program, and it's an open curation for the hip-hop community here in Tampa.

The night is built around getting people on the mic. There's an open aux for producers to run their beats, freestyle sessions for emcees to jump in, and time to network. It's not just for the people performing, either—the organizers invite rappers, producers, DJs, musicians, singers, graphic designers, studio engineers, vendors, show promoters, fans, and content creators to show up and get involved. If you're working in the scene, it's a good spot to put your work out there and meet other people doing the same thing.

Shuffle is Florida's first and only indoor shuffleboard bar and restaurant, a neighborhood local that also runs community league nights, corporate events, and team building. Open Aux is one of the nights they host as part of the Hip Hop In The Heights series, and it's free to attend. It runs every third Tuesday of the month, from 9 PM to 11:59 PM, at 2612 North Tampa Street.
