Oddity-filled bingo night with ten games, vendors, a food truck, a costume contest and prizes at The Orpheum.
Oddities Bingo takes over The Orpheum on Thursday, October 29, with doors opening at 7 PM. It's presented by The Orpheum and Lunar Curiosities, and they're billing it as "not your grandma's bingo night"βan oddity-filled experience where every number called brings you closer to the extraordinary.
The bingo itself runs across ten games, with one sheet per game. Your ticket includes a three-card stack to get you started, and you can pick up additional cards for $1 each if you want to increase your odds. The prizes are where the "oddities" part really comes in: they range from framed oddities and wet specimens to gift cards and exclusive curiosities pulled straight from Lunar Curiosities, with a $250 cash grand prize on the line.
There's more to the night than just the bingo cards. The room will be filled with vendors and a food truck, and there's a costume contest in the mix, so it's worth putting some thought into what you wear. Every attendee also gets a small goodie bag to take home. The event is open to all ages, though anyone under 18 needs to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. It runs rain or shine, and parking is free.
