October Cigar Smoker Sociale

The Italian Club of Tampa is hosting its October Cigar Smoker Sociale on Friday, October 23, from 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM. It's taking place in the club's first-floor Cantina at 1731 East 7th Avenue in Ybor City, and it's open to the public, though you have to be 21 or older to get in.

The evening is part of the club's celebration of Italian Heritage Month, and they've teamed up with neighbor King Corona Cigars for the cigars. Each guest gets two complimentary premium cigars, and the rest of the night is built around them: Italian food and light bites, and a full cash and credit bar serving signature cocktails. The music comes from pianist Alon Sams, who's billed as one of Tampa's top live entertainers.

There's a bit more to it than just the party. The Italian Club is a 501(c)(3) organization, and the proceeds from its events go to the Italian Club Building & Cultural Trust Fund, which is dedicated to preserving the club's historic facility. So the night supports the very building it's held in.

Tickets are $45 for Italian Club members and $55 for guests. It runs from 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM on Friday, October 23, at the Italian Club of Tampa in Ybor City.
