Movie on the Lawn Double Feature - Halloweentown & The Shining

Armature Works is turning its South Lawn into an open-air cinema on Wednesday, October 28, for a double feature that runs from 7 PM through the night. It's part of their Movie on the Lawn series, and the lineup is a bit of a tonal whiplash: Halloweentown kicks things off at 7 PM, followed by The Shining at 9 PM. You've got a family-friendly Disney Channel original to start the evening and a Kubrick horror classic to close it out, both under the stars.

The setup is pretty straightforward. You bring a blanket, grab some popcorn, and settle in on the grass. If you'd rather not deal with the ground, there are reserved Adirondack chairs available near the front. Between the two films, you'll have a bit of a gap to stretch your legs or grab another drink before the second half of the night begins.

There are two ways to do it. VIP Adirondack seating is $10 per person and comes with a drink ticket. If you're coming with someone, the blanket seating option is $20 for up to two people, and that includes a drink ticket, a take-home blanket, and complimentary popcorn.
