Halloween-themed fundraiser with a decorated jock strap contest, BBQ food and a $900 campground stay auction, run by the Tampa Bay Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence.
Meat Sunday returns to MR D'z Men's Emporium on Sunday, October 25, from 3 PM to 7 PM. This one is the Beefy Halloween edition, and it's run by the Tampa Bay Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence. The whole afternoon is a fundraiser, with proceeds going to the Sisters themselves and the Ronald McDonald House.
The food comes from the Sacrifice at the Altar BBQ, so you'll find burgers, hot dogs, and sides to work through. The main event is the Scare Us With Your Package Decorated Jock Strap Contest: entrants decorate their own jock straps, and the top three winners each take home $50 in cash. If you're not the decorating type, there's still plenty to do—the food is a big part of the draw, and the contest is as much about watching as it is about competing.

There's also a high-value auction item in the mix: a week's stay at Sawmill Campground and Resort, valued at $900, goes up for bidding during the afternoon. Between the BBQ, the contest, and the auction, it's a full afternoon for a couple of good causes.
