Maintenance Labs

Maintenance Labs comes to the Special Events Center at the Florida State Fairgrounds on Tuesday, March 9, 2027. It's a new one-day event put on by the Florida Apartment Association in collaboration with the Bay Area Apartment Association, and it's built around education and hands-on learning designed specifically for multifamily maintenance professionals.

The day is set up to help maintenance crews tackle common issues with more confidence, and it keeps them up to date on the latest in technology, trends, and safety. The hands-on part is the core of it—you're not just sitting through a lecture; you're working through the actual tasks that come up in the field. It's a full day of training, so you'll want to clear your schedule for the whole thing.

If you're in the multifamily maintenance world, this is right in your wheelhouse. The Florida Apartment Association and the Bay Area Apartment Association are the ones behind it, so it's geared toward the specific challenges of apartment complexes rather than general residential work. The focus on technology and safety means you'll see what's new in the industry and how to handle it safely, which is a good way to stay current without having to hunt down the information on your own.

It runs from 8 AM to 3:30 PM at the Special Events Center, located at the Florida State Fairgrounds, 4800 U.S. Hwy 301 N, Tampa, FL 33610. When you head over, use the MLK Blvd Entrance at Gate 3.
