An immersive laser light show featuring the music of Led Zeppelin inside the Holloway Digital Dome Theatre at MOSI, preceded by a live star show.
MOSI is bringing Led Zeppelin to the Holloway Digital Dome Theatre on Friday, November 27, as part of its immersive laser light show series. The show runs on the band's own recordings, with laser visuals synchronized to the music, all projected inside the dome. The theater is home to the Saunders Planetarium, which is billed as America's second-largest planetarium.
Before the music starts, there's a ten-minute live star show led by an astronomer, so you get a bit of the planetarium side of things before the lasers take over. The playlist covers a good stretch of the band's catalog: "Song Remains the Same," "Over the Hills and Far Away," "Good Times," "Bad Times," "Immigrant Song," "No Quarter," "Black Dog," "Livin' Lovin' Maid," "Kashmir," "Stairway to Heaven," "Whole Lotta Love," and "Rock-n-Roll."
If you're planning to go, there are a few things to keep in mind. The Beakers Bar serves drinks before the show, and the museum warns that all laser shows contain a sequence of flashing lights that may affect people susceptible to photosensitive epilepsy or other sensitivities. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.
