An immersive laser light and music show with a holiday theme at the Holloway Digital Dome Theatre, MOSI.
MOSI is bringing a holiday-themed laser light show to the Holloway Digital Dome Theatre on Saturday, December 26. It's part of their Laser Light Shows series, which runs on select Friday evenings throughout the year, so this one falls right in the middle of the holiday break.
The show pairs laser visuals and dynamic music with a ten-minute live star show guided by an astronomer. The lasers take over the dome, and the music is meant to be immersive—the series is built around letting you experience music from your favorite artists in that setting. The star show is the part that ties it back to the venue: the Holloway Digital Dome Theatre is home to the Saunders Planetarium, which is billed as America's second-largest planetarium. So you're getting a laser show and a guided tour of the night sky in one go.
If you haven't spent much time there, MOSI is a hands-on science center in Tampa Bay dedicated to interactive learning and playful exploration, with permanent and rotating exhibits you can actually touch and work with. The laser shows are one of the immersive programs they run alongside the museum's usual offerings.

One thing to keep in mind: the show contains flashing lights that may affect people susceptible to photosensitive epilepsy. The show starts at 8:15 PM, but check-in and Beakers Bar open at 5:30 PM and theatre doors open at 8:00 PM, so you've got plenty of time to get settled before it kicks off. Tickets are $10 for members and $13 for non-members per person.
