House of X Coffee Rave Vol 2

House of X is back at Babe Coffee Lounge on Sunday, October 25, for Coffee Rave Vol. 2. It's the second installment of a series put on by The Coffee House Collective, a daytime gathering built around coffee, House music, movement and community. The organizers describe it as something set apart from the typical rave, and the timing reflects that—it runs from 12 PM to 6 PM, so you're dancing in the middle of the day rather than deep into the night.

This is a recurring thing, too. The series runs every last Sunday of the month, and Vol. 2 follows the first one, which launched Land O'Lakes' first Coffee Rave. The collective says the series continues to lean on the people who bring the room to life, so it's as much about the crowd as it is about the music.

If you're new to it, the premise is pretty straightforward: House music and coffee in a lounge setting, with the dance floor open throughout the afternoon. It's a daytime party that keeps the energy of a rave but shifts it to a Sunday afternoon, and since it's part of a monthly series, you'll find it back at the same spot on the last Sunday of the month.

It all goes down at Babe Coffee Lounge, 5132 Land O'Lakes, Tampa, FL 34639, on Sunday, October 25, from 12 PM to 6 PM. Admission is $10.
