Narrative drag show by Ginger Minj, a love letter to the film 'Hocus Pocus', with new songs, special effects and audience interaction, on its North American tour.
Hokus Pokus Live! comes to the Tampa Theatre on Tuesday, November 3, as part of a 29-city North American tour. It's a narrative drag production written, directed, and co-produced by Ginger Minj, who took home the win on RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars 10. This is the fourth iteration of the show, and it's built as a love letter to the cult Halloween classic Hokus Pokus.
On stage, the show pairs new songs written for the film's characters with immersive audience interaction, special effects, and unexpected guest appearances. Because of how much of it depends on the crowd and those surprises, no two nights end up the same. The production is a high-camp parody of the movie, so it's less of a straight retelling and more of a drag reimagining that plays with the original.
Minj leads the cast alongside Sapphira Cristál, Jujubee, and Landon Cider. The Tampa date is one stop on a tour that hits 29 cities across North America, so it's a big run for a show that started as a specific tribute. The production also introduced a New Digital Lottery—the first of its kind for a drag tour—which offers discounted tickets and front-row experiences. Sign-ups for the lottery run from 9 AM to 3 PM the day before each performance, so if you're looking for a cheaper seat or a spot right up front, that's the window to watch.

Between the new songs, the audience interaction, and the guest spots, it's a full evening of drag rather than a short set. The show runs on November 3 at the Tampa Theatre in Tampa, Florida.
