Gameface plays its 'All 90's Set' with Drag The River and The Arrival Note at New World Music Hall, an 18+ show.
Gameface and Drag The River are playing the New World Music Hall on Thursday, October 22, with The Arrival Note opening the bill. The show starts at 7 PM, and it's presented by Aestheticized Presents.
Gameface, led by Jeff Caudill, has been pulling from emo, pop, hardcore, indie, and punk since 1991, when they put out their first release—a 7" on Nemisis Records. Their 1995 album Three to Get Ready earned them a worldwide following, and for this show, they're sticking to an all-90s set, so you'll be hearing the material from that era.
Drag The River formed in Fort Collins, Colorado, in 1996 as a country-rock outlet for a group of punk veterans. Chad Price and Jon Snodgrass recorded about twenty songs that came out as demos in 2000; Snodgrass came from Armchair Martian, and Price and ex-member Karl Alvarez were both active in ALL during the 1990s. J.J. Nobody of The Nobodys joined in 2002, and in 2004 Casey Prestwood of Hot Rod Circuit and Dave Barker of Pinhead Circus took over steel guitar, lead guitar, and drums. The band released its last full-length album, It's Crazy, on June 6, 2006, and went on hiatus in May 2007.
