Live show by Kentucky nu-metal and hard rock band Flaw at The Brass Mug.
Flaw play The Brass Mug on Saturday, October 24, 2026. The show starts at 6:30 PM.
Flaw is a Kentucky nu-metal and hard rock band that formed in 1996, fronted by singer Chris Volz. They signed to Republic after a showcase at CBGB, and their debut, Through the Eyes (2001), topped the Billboard Heatseekers chart. Their follow-up, Endangered Species (2004), became their highest-charting release. The band's sound sits in that nu-metal and hard rock territory they've occupied since the early 2000s.
The venue is The Brass Mug, a 700-capacity room in northern Tampa that opened in 1982. Over the years it's earned the nickname "the CBGB of Tampa," long regarded as a proving ground for metal, punk and hardcore. It's one of the city's older rooms, and it's where a lot of the heavier stuff in town tends to land.
