Urban leadership conference and Christian hip-hop music festival with general sessions, breakout tracks and evening concerts across three stages.
Flavor Fest returns to Crossover Church in Tampa from November 5-8, 2026. This year's edition is titled Mandate to Multiply, and it pairs general sessions and breakout tracks with evening concerts spread across three stages.
The general sessions are the core of the conference. Session 1 is free to the public and features Remix Worship and the Southside Rabbi Podcast with KB and Ameen Hudson. Session 2 is led by Tommy Kyllonen, and Session 3 features Myron Golden. The evening concerts bring in the heavy hitters: Miles Minnick, Yung Kriss, and Datin play Friday night, followed by Lecrae and Gifted Hands on Saturday. Between the sessions and the shows, there's a 16 Bar Challenge, a Beat Battle, and a Bring The Flavor breakdance battle.
To get some context, Flavor Fest is both an urban leadership conference and a Christian hip-hop music festival that's been running for 26 years. It was started in 2000 by Pastor Tommy 'Urban D.' Kyllonen, whose first national hip-hop album, The Missin' Element, helped turn Crossover Church into a national model for urban ministry. The conference was built to train and equip urban pastors, church planters, and ministry leaders, and it's grown to more than 20 editions with over 7,000 leaders trained, earning a reputation as the largest gathering of Christian hip-hop in the world. Crossover Church itself sits in Tampa's Uptown Innovation District in a former Toys R' Us store and has been named one of America's most innovative churches. Kyllonen has been the lead pastor there for 24 years, has released nine albums, and has written seven books, including Love Our City.
