Five hours of pop-punk and emo music with a Halloween theme and costume contest at The Catacombs, part of PunkNites' series.
PunkNites are bringing their Emo Halloween Ball to The Catacombs on Friday, October 23, as part of their Pop Punk and Emo series in Tampa Ybor. They're calling this one an Emo Halloween Ball and Grave Rave, and it's built around the pop punk and emo music that defined the scene. DJ L and DJ Zero Cool are on the decks, and they'll be joined by special guests throughout the night.
The music runs for more than five hours, with the DJs playing the crowd's favorite pop-punk and emo songs alongside metal and scene music. They take requests all night, so the set list depends as much on what people are asking for as on what they've got queued up. The room fills with punks, emos and scene kids, and the costume contest winner is announced at 1 AM.

Doors open at 9 PM, and the music goes until 2 AM or later. Entry is strictly 21 and over, and there are no refunds unless the show is cancelled. Tickets run from $5 to $12.51, and the whole thing takes place at The Catacombs, 1909 N 15th St Suite A, Tampa, FL 33605.
