Adult Halloween night of glow-in-the-dark skating with a costume contest, EMO, pop-punk and alternative music.
United Skates of America is hosting an EMO Glow In The Dark Skate on Friday, October 23, from 10 PM to 12:30 AM. It's an early-Halloween adult night, so it's 18 and older only. The rink will be under a massive glow light show, and the music will be emo anthems, throwbacks, pop-punk and alternative. There's a costume contest, too, so if you've got a look you've been waiting to bring out, this is a good time to do it.
One thing to keep in mind: everyone who enters the building, whether you're skating or just hanging out, has to complete an online waiver in advance. It's a simple enough step, but it's one you'll want to knock out before you head over so you aren't stuck doing paperwork when you'd rather be on the floor.
This is part of a larger run of themed adult skate nights United Skates is programming throughout the month. The EMO night is just one of them—they've also got Friday Night Lights Glow Skate, Adult Skeleton Disco Skate, Adult Halloween Special, and Five Nights At Freddy's Halloween Skate. If you're into the whole Halloween vibe, you can basically pick your favorite theme and keep coming back.

Admission is $15 per person, and that includes rentals, so you don't need your own skates to join in. The rink is at 5121 N Armenia Ave in Tampa, and the session runs from 10 PM Friday night into the early hours of Saturday morning.
