Concert by the Commercial Music Ensemble at the USF Barness Recital Hall.
The Commercial Music Ensemble is playing Program A at USF Barness Recital Hall on Friday, October 30. It's a concert by the ensemble, and as the name suggests, the music sits in the commercial tradition rather than the classical one. If you're not familiar with the group, they're part of the music program at the University of South Florida, and this is one of their scheduled performances for the term.
Since this is billed as Program A, it's one of a few different sets they've put together, so if you're planning to catch more than one of their shows this season, keep in mind that the repertoire changes between programs. The ensemble brings together a range of styles and sounds, and this particular set is the one they'll be running on the 30th.

The concert is on Friday, October 30, at 7:30 PM. The venue is USF Barness Recital Hall, located at 3755 USF Holly Drive, MUS 101, Tampa, FL 33620. If you've never been to the music building on campus, it's on the USF Tampa campus, and the recital hall is tucked inside the MUS building. It's a standard recital space, so you'll be in a seated room rather than a standing club. The show starts at 7:30 PM, so you'll want to be in your seat by then.
