A networking session with coffee and a fireside chat featuring regional leaders discussing the future of Downtown Tampa and the Tampa Bay region.
Coffee with a CEO is happening at Embarc Collective on Tuesday, October 27, from 8:00 to 9:30 AM. It's a morning session that pairs a coffee networking hour with a fireside chat between two of the region's top leaders: Bemetra Simmons, President & CEO of the Tampa Bay Partnership, and Kenyetta Hairston-Bridges, President & CEO of the Tampa Downtown Partnership.
Simmons and Hairston-Bridges will talk through economic growth, strategic priorities, and the future of Downtown Tampa and the broader Tampa Bay region. The conversation is a candid one, and because it's a fireside chat, it's more of a dialogue than a presentation. The networking part comes first, so you'll have time to grab coffee and talk with other people in the room before the two CEOs take the stage.
It's aimed at professionals, entrepreneurs, startup founders, and anyone who enjoys networking. The venue, Embarc Collective, is the central landing zone for the Tampa Bay tech community—a space built to support startup teams and foster community conversations around technology, entrepreneurship, and innovation. It's equipped with state-of-the-art event spaces and virtual conferencing capabilities, so it's a natural fit for a talk about where the city's business and tech scenes are headed.
