Five-course autumn dinner with wine pairings from Banfi at the Italian restaurant Che Vita in Downtown Tampa.
Che Vita is hosting a fall wine dinner featuring Banfi wines on Friday, October 23, at their restaurant in the Hilton Tampa Downtown. It's a five-course seasonal meal with each course paired with a wine from Banfi, one of Italy's most celebrated wineries. The evening opens with a welcome pour and a delicate amuse-bouche, and from there it moves through five courses designed to match the character of the wines.
The menu runs through the flavors of autumn: beef carpaccio to start, followed by spiced pumpkin ravioli. For the main, you have a choice between Wagyu New York strip or Atlantic salmon en croûte, and the meal closes with a dark rum panna cotta. Each dish is built around its paired wine, so the food and the glass work together rather than just sitting side by side.
Che Vita is an Italian restaurant in Downtown Tampa near the Riverwalk, inside the Hilton Tampa Downtown. Its special dinners are rooted in the warm spirit of Southern Italy, and this one follows that same line. The hotel offers complimentary valet parking, which makes getting in and out easy if you're coming from across town.
