Candlelight: Featuring Vivaldi's Four Seasons and More

The Listesso String Quartet takes the stage at Centro Asturiano de Tampa on Saturday, November 7, for a Candlelight concert. The whole room will be lit by candlelight, and the music is performed live by the quartet. It's a tribute experience, not affiliated with the artists' estates or official representatives.

The program centers on Vivaldi's The Four Seasons, with the quartet playing all four movements. Alongside that, they'll perform his Sonata n.12 in d-minor 'La Follia' RV 63. It's a full hour of music, so you're getting the complete cycle of the seasons and a substantial sonata in one sitting.

Before you head over, there are a few practical things to keep in mind. The venue isn't ADA compliant—there are stairs at the entrance and exit points. Seating is assigned on a first-come, first-served basis within each zone, so if you're particular about where you sit, you'll want to get there early. The experience is recommended for ages 8 and up, and anyone under 16 needs to be accompanied by an adult.

The show starts at 6:30 PM and runs for 60 minutes. Doors open an hour before, and there's no entry once the music begins, so you'll want to be inside well before the start. Tickets start at $29.
