Candlelight concert by Listeso String Quartet, a tribute to the songs of Juan Gabriel in the historic Centro Asturiano de Tampa.
Candlelight brings a tribute to Juan Gabriel to the Centro Asturiano de Tampa on Sunday, November 1, 2026. The whole idea is to take Gabriel's songbook and hear it under the glow of candlelight, with the Listeso String Quartet on strings. It's a 60-minute show, and the program is tentative, but it looks like it'll run through some of the songs most people know by heart: 'Buenos Días Señor Sol', 'Así Fue', 'Abrázame Muy Fuerte', 'La Diferencia', 'Querida', 'No Tengo Dinero', 'Por Qué Me Haces Llorar', 'Siempre en Mi Mente', 'Amor Eterno', 'Pero Qué Necesidad', 'El Noa Noa' and 'Caray'.
The venue is the Centro Asturiano de Tampa, a historic theatre and social club in Ybor City that holds 1,000 people. It's a Renaissance Mediterranean building from 1914, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and it's known for its grand ballroom and elegant interior. The show is a tribute and isn't affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Juan Gabriel, his estate, or his official representatives.
