Separately ticketed Halloween night experience that turns the entire park into a web of horror with haunted houses, scare zones, monster shows and the coasters running at night.
Howl-O-Scream is back at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay for select nights from September 11 to October 31, 2026. It's a separately ticketed night experience, so your daytime admission doesn't cover it, and it's aimed at mature audiences. The event turns the whole park into a web of horror, with haunted houses that get new storylines every year, scare zones that draw on local lore, and the park's wildest coasters running in the dark.
This year's lineup of haunted houses includes Anaconda: Fear Has No Escape, Stranglewood Estate, Circus of Fear, Raven's Mill, and M.A.R.S.. The scare zones are Mr. Gleam's Auto Spa, The Punchline: Riot, Rootbound, The Pestilence, Breadcrumbs to Nowhere, and Ragnar's Wrath, where monsters roam the paths between the houses. There are also two shows: Fiends, featuring Dr. Freakenstein and Igor, and Cirque X-Scream.
The horror carries over to the food and drink, too. There's the Fright Feast, a sinister buffet at TreeTop Kitchen, and Madame Mary's Red Rum Social, a Roaring Twenties speakeasy bar. One thing to keep in mind: no outside costumes are allowed inside the park.
