If you're coming to them from the early 2000s, the names will be familiar. BBMAK formed in Liverpool in 1996 around the three voices of Christian Burns, Mark Barry and Ste McNally. They built their sound on rich harmonies and a signature guitar, and they broke through with their debut album Sooner or Later in 2000, which sold over 3 million copies worldwide and put them on the Billboard 200 with songs like "Back Here" and "Still on Your Side." Their follow-up, Into Your Head (2002), brought along fan favorites like "Out of My Heart (Into Your Head)" and "Staring Into Space."
One thing that set them apart from a lot of the pop acts of that era was that they wrote their own songs and played their own instruments. That took them on tour with NSYNC and Britney Spears, and onto The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Good Morning America and Live with Regis and Kelly*. Billboard eventually ranked "Back Here" as the ninth greatest boy band song of all time.

After a hiatus, the three reunited in 2018 and released Powerstation in 2019. This Tampa date is one stop on their November 2026 Florida + at sea tour, so they'll be playing the same set they're taking across the state and out on the water. The show runs from 8 PM to 10 PM at The Bricks Ybor, 1327 E 7th Ave, Tampa, FL 33605. Tickets are $35 in advance and $40 at the door.
