Mesa Boricua is bringing back Around the Mesa on Friday, October 23, at Vino Ghvino 21 in Tampa. This is the second edition of the series, which they describe as an intimate evening built around Puerto Rican-inspired food, wine, conversation, and the kind of connections that happen when people put the business cards away and actually get to know one another.
It's not a traditional networking event. There are no elevator pitches and no awkward working-the-room. Instead, a small group gathers around one table for six thoughtfully created courses and wine. The first edition sold out, and this second chapter keeps the same soul while shifting the season to autumn. The evening is for guests aged 21 and over.
If you're looking for a night that's more about the meal and the people at the table than a professional mixer, this is that. It's a slow dinner where the food and the wine are the center of the room, and the conversation happens naturally around them.
