Anthony Jeselnik

Anthony Jeselnik is coming to Carol Morsani Hall at The Straz Center for two nights this December. He plays Friday, December 4, at 7:30 PM and Saturday, December 5, at 7:00 PM. If you've seen him before, you know the deal: he's a stand-up comedian who builds his sets around a very specific, deadpan delivery and a penchant for the dark side of a joke. He's one of those acts where the timing is as much a part of the performance as the punchline itself.

What makes this a bit different from a standard club set is the scale. This is a live stage production that brings in music and visual elements alongside his performance, with his own cast and signature production design. Each stop on the tour is adapted to the venue while keeping the same immersive storytelling style, high-energy pacing, and theatrical presentation. It's less of a guy-with-a-mic night and more of a full-stage show, and the venue reflects that: Carol Morsani Hall holds 2,610 people, so it's a big room for a comedy set.

If you're deciding between the two dates, the Friday show starts at 7:30 PM and the Saturday one is slightly earlier at 7:00 PM. Tickets start at $103, with an average around $229. The venue is at 1010 North Macinnes Place in Tampa.
