Free community charity evening with live music, food from Latam Catering, a silent auction, 50/50 raffle, fall activities for kids and a costume contest.
Gather & Give returns to 3515 N Florida Ave on Friday, October 30, from 6 PM to 9 PM. Presented by Brittany McKenna, it's a community charity event that brings together live music, food, and a few different ways to give back in one night. This is the second edition of the event, which runs in the spirit of Microsoft's GIVE month and in memory of the organizer's dog, Max, who had a big heart for helping charities, alongside his pal Willow.
There's a fair amount to do over those three hours. Latam Catering handles the food and treats, and the evening includes a silent auction, a raffle, and a 50/50 raffle. For the younger crowd, there are fall activities for kids, and a costume contest open to all agesβpets included. You'll also find adoptable animals from the Humane Society Tampa Bay on hand.
All donations from the night are split among three local charities: Humane Society Tampa Bay (serving both Hillsborough and Pinellas), Bikes from the Heart, and Portico Housing Solutions. If you're a Microsoft employee and donate time or money, the company matches your contribution 100%. The organizers describe the night as "good vibes, great company, and giving back," a chance to connect and give in person.
