Live concert by The Quireboys, the UK hard rock band behind the 1990 hit '7 O'Clock', at EngineRooms.
The Quireboys are playing EngineRooms on Saturday 17 October, with the show starting at 19:00. They're the only act on the bill, so it's a straightforward night of rock with them taking the full set.
If you're not familiar with them, they've been a fixture of the UK rock scene for more than 30 years, headlining shows at home and abroad and sharing stages with the Rolling Stones, Guns N' Roses, Aerosmith and Whitesnake. They started out as The Queerboys, playing hard rock and building their name in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Their 1990 album A Bit of What You Fancy produced several singles that stuck around: '7 O'Clock', 'Hey You', 'I Don't Love You Anymore' and 'There She Goes Again'.
They've kept going well beyond those early years, and more recent releases include Beautiful Curse and St Cecilia and the Gypsy Soul. Between those and the older records, there's plenty of ground for them to draw from for a single night.
