Live music performance by the indie rock band The Guest List at the historic Papillon venue in Southampton.
The Guest List play Papillon on Sunday 22 November, their only Southampton date of the autumn. They're a Manchester band, formed in 2021, and they've built their name on melodic riffs that stick in your head long after the song's finished.
Two of their tracks, 'London' and 'Loose Tongue', were produced by James Skelly and have picked up airtime on BBC Radio 6. That radio presence sits alongside a huge following on TikTok, where they've gathered more than 400,000 followers. Between the two, they've put together a string of major indie gigs and a sold-out UK tour, so this is a band that's playing to rooms they've earned.
Papillon is a 450-capacity live music venue, restaurant and bar in the city centre, housed in a Grade II listed former church built in 1845. The conversion has kept the original wooden beams and stained-glass windows, so the room still feels like the church it was. It's a good spot for a Sunday night, and the show is for over-14s only.
