The Furious

The Furious is playing at Harbour Lights Picturehouse in Ocean Village, Southampton, this Tuesday 14 July. It's a martial arts action film, and if that's your thing, it's a straightforward one to slot into your week.

Harbour Lights is a two-screen cinema and bar overlooking the harbour, with both indoor and outdoor seating. It's dog-friendly, which is a nice touch if you're bringing your four-legged friend along. There's a café-bar on site serving coffee, cakes, pizzas, toasties, wines, craft beers, ciders and premium spirits, and it opens 30 minutes before the first film of the day. The cinema runs a wide range of films, from current blockbusters and family favourites to independent gems, cult classics and world cinema, so it's a good spot to keep an eye on for more than just the big releases.

If you're a regular, there's a membership starting from £52 a year for a standard adult. It gets you free cinema tickets, a 10% discount on food and drink, £3 off regular ticket prices, no booking fees and exclusive previews. If you're going to be around the cinema a fair bit, it's worth doing the maths on whether it pays for itself.

As for the film, tickets are £9, with children £5.50, members £7, concessions £8, and family tickets at £25 and £27.50. If you can make it before 5pm, the price drops to £8, with children £5.50, members £6, concessions £7, and family tickets at £23 and £25.50. There's also a Silver Screen price of £4.50. The film runs at 20:10 on Tuesday, and it's also showing Friday at 20:00, Saturday and Thursday at 20:40, Sunday and Tuesday at 20:10, and Wednesday at 17:10.
