Alternative rock band The Fierce & the Dead play their album release show for 'Regional Theatre' at The Hobbit Pub.
The Fierce & the Dead play The Hobbit Pub on Saturday 17 October, part of a run of dates celebrating their new album, Regional Theatre. It's an album release show, and the record itself is due out in autumn 2026, so this is one of the first chances to hear it live.
If you're not familiar with them, they're an alternative rock band formed in London back in 2010. They've put out five studio albums since then and spent a fair bit of time on the road, touring with some notable acts. Regional Theatre is their second vocal-led record, and it marks a shift they've been working towards for a while — a heavier, more vocal-led sound than the earlier material. These October dates are a focused run of performances around the new songs, rather than a sprawling tour, so the set will lean heavily on the new material.
It's a good place to start if you've never seen them, and it'll be a bit of a marker for anyone who has followed them from the early days. The band has evolved steadily over the years, and this is the latest version of them. Support is still to be confirmed, so the night will be built around their set.
