Stand-up comedy night hosted by James Alderson featuring The Noise Next Door, Kiri Pritchard McLean and Jack Skipper.
Stitches Comedy Club is back at Mayflower Studios on Thursday 2 July, one of three dates they've got lined up for the year. It's a recurring night rather than a one-off, and the resident comedian James Alderson hosts every single one, so he's the constant across the different bills.
Tonight's line-up opens with Alderson himself, followed by The Noise Next Door, Kiri Pritchard McLean, and Ola Labib, with Jack Skipper taking the headliner slot. The club mixes established names with improv groups and rising stars, and the 2 July bill fits that: you've got a proper headliner in Skipper, a couple of familiar faces in the middle, and an improv group in The Noise Next Door to keep things moving. It's a full night of stand-up, not just a couple of short sets.
If you can't make this one, there are two more dates to keep in mind. On 8 October, Alderson returns as compere for Shappi Khorsandi, Angelos Epithemiou, and headliner Jeff Innocent. Then on 5 November, he's back as host for Michael Fabbri, Harriet Dyer, and headliner Chris McCausland. Across the three, you'll see names like McCausland, Pritchard McLean, Khorsandi, and Innocent, so there's a fair bit of variety to choose from if you're planning to catch more than one.
