Scottish post-punk legends Skids, with support from Kirk Brandon's Theatre of Hate, visit The Engine Rooms as part of their UK and European tour.
Skids play The Engine Rooms on Tuesday 20 October, as part of their UK and European tour. They're billed as Scotland's perennial punk legends, and the Southampton date is one of several stops they're making across the UK and Europe this autumn.
They arrive fresh from a busy festival season, which included a set at Doune The Rabbit Hole, so they'll be coming off a run of live shows rather than starting from cold. The tour takes them across the UK and into Europe, with the Southampton date falling on a Tuesday night.
Opening for them is Theatre Of Hate, Kirk Brandon's other project. Brandon is the voice of both bands, so you'll get two sets from the same singer in one evening. The two acts share a lineage in the post-punk sound, and having them on the same bill means the night stays within that particular territory from start to finish.
