A family film adventure where Shaun the Sheep becomes a mad scientist to fix the farm after the pumpkin patch is trashed by the clumsy Farmer.
Shaun the Sheep: The Beast of Mossy Bottom opens at Showcase Cinema de Lux on Sunday 13 September, the latest feature film from Aardman's stop-motion franchise. It's a family adventure that finds the flock in unfamiliar territory: the farm's beloved pumpkin patch gets trashed by the clumsy Farmer, and Shaun decides to turn himself into a mad scientist to set things right.
There's a fair bit of Aardman history behind the scenes here. The screenplay is by Mark Burton, who wrote the Academy Award-winning Wallace and Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit, directed the Academy Award-nominated first Shaun the Sheep Movie, and wrote its follow-up, A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon. He's joined by Giles Pilbrow, who wrote the Shaun the Sheep: Adventures from Mossy Bottom series and the story of the TV special Shaun the Sheep: The Flight Before Christmas. Justin Fletcher voices Shaun and the Flock, with John Sparkes and Kate Harbour also on the cast.
