A screening of the 2026 sequel to Practical Magic, where the Owens family faces a new crisis as hidden magical secrets are uncovered.
Practical Magic 2 is showing at Showcase Cinema de Lux in Southampton on Sunday 13 September, with a morning screening at 09:30. It's a sequel that picks up twenty-five years after the first film, so there's a fair bit of ground to cover before we're back with the Owens family. The story follows them as their magical origins are rediscovered, sparking a new crisis for the household.
That crisis centres on Sally's daughter, who uncovers hidden secrets and develops dark abilities of her own. From there, the family finds itself in a multi-generational struggle to break a centuries-old curse, and the Owens women have to unite once more to deal with it. It's a family affair, then, with the new generation taking centre stage while the older one steps back in to help.

On the screen, Nicole Kidman and Sandra Bullock return as sisters Sally and Gillian, and Dianne Wiest and Stockard Channing reprise their roles as their aunts. The film runs 1 hour and 50 minutes, and it's available in both standard and premium formats at selected venues. If you're heading to the 09:30 showing, you'll be out by 11:20, leaving the rest of your Sunday wide open.
