Concert by the six-piece shoegaze band Pebbledash at the Heartbreakers venue in Southampton.
Pebbledash play Heartbreakers on Saturday 10 October, with the music starting at 8:00pm. They're a six-piece shoegaze band from Cork, Ireland, and this is a headline show, so they'll be the only act on the bill.
If you're not familiar with them, their sound is built on shoegaze, with noise rock and dream pop folded into textured, melodic soundscapes. There are grumbling basslines and guitar cries set against a wash of synth and introspective lyrics. They've built a following as both a live act and a studio presence, picking up support from BBC Radio 6 Music, Radio X, NME, RTĆ, Clash, Dork, Hot Press, Nialler9, Psychedelic Baby Magazine, Far Out, District Magazine and Golden Plec. So Young Magazine named them a favourite, and their music featured in its Tracks of the Year.
2025 was a watershed year for them. Their track 'Carraig Aonair' landed in Steven Knight's Netflix series House Of Guinness and has since gathered over 180,000 Spotify streams. They also put out two releases that year: the EP Four Portraits Of The Same Ugly House in January and the full album To Cast The Sea In Concrete in November. Beyond the studio, they've played Left Of The Dial in Rotterdam and They're Gonna Be Big in Paris.
